Candy Table
Since 2012, I’ve been the creative force behind the popular candy display at our annual Swing for the Kids event. It started as a one-time idea but then became a tradition. I've been invited back nearly every year to recreate the fun.
I designed the table scape and built custom displays, custom signage and labels for the items to create a polished and cohesive look which complemented our golf tournament branding. The style was outdoor-friendly, and used metal and natural wood textures as a clean and rustic backdrop, which let the candy's colors and variety stand out. I selected items that are our fan favorites as well as nostalgic and rare candies. I took special care to accommodate requests, and provided a wide variety for the golfers to enjoy.
I managed a team of volunteers to execute setup, manage the display throughout the event, and handle teardown efficiently. I improved the display each year and took care to protect the supplies with tailored packing materials. We received many complements and many golfers look forward to the candy table at the event.
Starting this year, 2025, the candy table project was taken up by the event team, which will also handle it going forward.
